As part of Film Feels Curious, The Place Bedford have partnerned with The Cinema Cartography, curating a season of six films that promote and provoke the feeling of intrigue and discovery in the viewer, sometimes in unexpected ways. To celebrate their activity, The Cinema Cartography have produced a new video essay - Cynicism is Not Insight - to explore and celebrate cinema's history with curiousity.
Created by Lewis Michael Bond and Luiza Liz Bond, The Cinema Cartography inspires new ways of experiencing Art and film. Their YouTube channel is host various videos breaking down various aspects of film in video essay format, promoting critical thinking and aiming to improve viewers’ relationship with Art and the world around them.
