New Media Scotland have set Ukrainian developers Reface a grand challenge. Could they take a classic film and reface the extras with the faces of the audience watching, and in real time too? On this night, in extraordinary times, we find out.
Based in Edinburgh’s twin city of Kyiv, Reface will use an artificial intelligence to map facial data acquired at Inspace onto the original actor’s bodies.
