Celine and Julie (Juliet Berto and Dominique Labourier) are two friends – a magician and a librarian. They share clothes, ideas and identities on a journey involving ghosts, magic, and time travel. It touches on the worlds of Lewis Carol and Henry James, and even went on to inspire David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive.
