Above the Line

Above The Line is a film exhibition organisation based in Manchester currently operating out of the venue Yes. Working independently to mainstream cinema since 2018, we offer a curated take on film through the use of double features. We offer an alternative cinema experience that is led by community approach and collaboration. Our programming is a fresh and exciting take on film exhibition and how audiences are able to engage with film. Framed as a double bill, we encourage new exploration into films and provoke critique and discussion among the diverse range of audiences we hope to engage.
