Centre for the Moving Image

The Centre for the Moving Image (CMI) was established in 2010 with a mission to be at the forefront of the development of a vibrant and successful film industry and culture across Scotland and beyond.

With bases in Edinburgh and Aberdeen, CMI is a national organisation working across Scotland, the UK and internationally, seeking to increase the range and quality of opportunities for people to be inspired by and engage with film and the moving image.

CMI is a registered Scottish charity, incorporating Edinburgh International Film Festival, Filmhouse in Edinburgh and Belmont Filmhouse in Aberdeen
